Dewey Bridge Fund

On April 15, 2008 the Grand County Council authorized the Grand County Historic Preservation Commission to organize and raise funds to conduct a study regarding the restoration of the Dewey Bridge, partially destroyed in a fire. The study will examine the integrity of the remaining steel structure and cost estimates to reconstruct Dewey Bridge. 

Tax deductible donations to fund this effort may be made payable to Grand County. Please mail or turn in donations to:

Request for Construction Bids

Grand County is accepting sealed bids to remodel the Old Grand County Library Building, 75 South 100 East, Moab, Utah into office spaces for the Grand County Sheriff and Attorney’s Offices.

All sealed bids must be turned into the Clerk Auditor’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008.  The County Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive minor defects as it deems appropriate. Proposal for Legal Services

Grand County is accepting sealed proposals for a qualified attorney to provide indigent parents legal services for dependency cases.  The attorney services shall be full service which will include but are not limited to hearings, mediation, dependency drug court, juvenile court hearings, appeals, client meetings, clerical tasks. Candidates are required to hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be an active member of the Utah State Bar and comply with all terms contained in the Request for Proposal.

Proposal specifications may be obtained at the Clerk Auditor’s Office, 125 E Center St, Moab, Utah 84532 and online. All sealed proposals must be turned into the Clerk Auditor’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive minor defects as it deems appropriate.
