Judd Hill has been named “Airport Manager of the Year” by the Utah Department of Transportation - Aeronautics. He will be recognized with the award on March 15th at the Utah Airport Operators Association conference.
Mr. Hill is the Airport Director for Canyonlands Field Airport in Moab. Jared Esselman, Director of UDOT- Aeronautics, recognized Mr. Hill’s work through the large-scale projects of runway strengthening and terminal expansion. The construction efforts were necessary to facilitate heavier commercial jets and will facilitate 50-seat SkyWest flights, under the United banner, from Moab to Denver beginning May 1st. With these projects, Hill has handled multiple obstacles successfully, and he gives credit to the Grand County Council, Grand County Airport Board, various consultants and contractors, and Airport staff.
