We are a committee sponsored by Grand County, Utah whose meetings and membership are open to the public.
Our participation in planning and volunteer trail work have been instrumental in the creation, updating and maintenance of:
· Magnificent 7
· Pipe Dream
· Baby Steps, Mega Steps, EKG and Little Salty at Klondike
· Moab Brands Trails - Bar-M, Circle-O, Rockin'-A and Bar-B, Lazy, EZ,
Deadman's Ridge, Long Branch, North 40 and of course Killer Bee
· Moonlight Meadows Trail
· The Whole Enchilada Trail System
· Colorado River-Gemini Bridges bike/pedestrian path
· Richardson Amphitheater Trail
There are ample opportunities to volunteer! There are hundred of miles of trails in Grand County which Trail Mix maintains. If you are interested in lending a hand in our efforts to keep the trails in good running condition (or riding, hiking or cross country skiing condition for that matter), please email Moab Trail Mix.
For more information send an email to Moab Trail Mix. Please be patient, we are a rag-tag bunch of volunteers who meet once a month, so we may not get back to you right away.
Thanks for visiting the Trail Mix website, and get out there and enjoy the trails!
Groups.google.com/group/moabtrailmix always has the latest news, events and volunteer opportunities. You don't need to join or sign in to read the posts. If you do sign up, you can opt to get emails and even post.

· Brush cutting - Remove brush and the like from the trail.
· Raking - Helps define the trail.
· Rock lining - Line the trail with rocks on both sides to clearly define the new trail.
· Digging and rock work - Move dirt and rock into and out of the trail to make the
trail more hikeable or rideable as well as to promote proper drainage and
sustainability.
· Rock moving - Sometimes we need to move larger rocks using rock bars or even
the grip hoist.
Go ride it with your huckleberry friend 'cause it's sweeter than a huckleberry pie.

Geoff has updated the maps to reflect the new and improved trails. Yes, I hear you, "How can something be both new and improved at the same time? I mean, if it's improved, that means it can't be new too. Right?" You are wrong rusty spur breath, 'cause some of the trails are new and some are improved. And anyway, "New and Improved" just sounds so good to not use here.
Anyway, Long Branch on the Moab Brands Trail System has been completed. Plus, of course, Rusty Spur and Deadman's Ridge are pretty new and included too. There are a number of new trail segments at Klondike Bluffs as well so that's been updated.
Pipe Dream trail map is new. So is Mag 7 Phase 1. Amasa Back is now a PDF (improved).
