Economic Development

The Community and Economic Development (CED) Department aims to guide development and economic growth in positive ways. In January 2018, Grand County furthered its commitment to quality planning and growth management by formally expanding the community development department to include economic development.

The Department works in land use planning, housing policy, and infrastructure development, and welcomes its expanded role in facilitating industry diversification, business retention and recruitment, workforce development, and economic research.
