Let’s get wild! It’s time for the Grand County Public Library’s 2021 Tails & Tales Summer Challenges! Each year, the library puts together summer challenges for all ages, with fun reading incentives and cool prize drawings. You can use our summer challenge website or our summer challenge app (see directions below) to log the minutes you spend reading (or being read to) and track your challenge activities to earn reading rewards, virtual badges & prize drawing tickets for awesome prizes including gift certificates to your favorite local shops and restaurants. Everyone who registers for a challenge will receive a coupon for a free donut from The Donut Shop (while supplies last).
New this year: A Cavalcade of Critters! The library is inviting all participants to help us create a virtual photo album of the Animals of Moab by sending in photos or artwork of beloved pets, farm animals and/or wildlife. At the end of the summer challenge we will post this online for everyone to enjoy. Sign up for your Summer Challenge to find out more!
Help us to reach our Paws to Read Community Wide Reading Goal! When our community reads a total of half a million minutes, Dominion Energy will generously donate $1000 to the Humane Society of Moab Valley!
