Office of Emergency Management
Purpose
To unite the emergency management community and to coordinate the efforts necessary to mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies, disasters and catastrophic events. We meet regularly as a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) with regional stakeholders.

FLOODING DANGERS: Where it rains and snows, it can flood. Sandbags can help protect your property, and are offered for free from the Grand County Roads Department (3500 South U.S. 191) and the Moab City Public Works Yard (470 Kane Creek Blvd).

Every year the monsoon comes. Every year some buildings flood. Sandbags can stop water from entering buildings and divert water away from vulnerable areas. Currently FREE at:
