2022 General Election 

2022 GENERAL ELECTION - 11/8/2022

IMPORTANT DATES for 2022 GENERAL ELECTION:  

October 18th Ballots will have gone out in the mail, registered/eligible voters should receive a ballot in the mail around this date.  Voters who have not received a ballot should verify/update their voter registration or contact the Grand County Clerk's Office at 435-259-1321 as soon as possible. This will allow time to correct any issues and mail you a new ballot. 

October 28th Last day to register to vote and receive a ballot by mail. Registrations must be received in the elections office by 5:00 pm. 

November 2nd - November 7th Early/In-Person Voting period. Early/In-Person Voting will open at the Grand County Clerk's Office from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. Also beginning 10/29, registration by provisional ballot will be available.

November 7th Vote-by-Mail postmark deadline. 

November 8th ELECTION DAY. The Grand County Clerk's Office will be open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm for ballot drop-off, in-person voting, and if you are not registered, registration by a provisional ballot.  

How to Vote:

By Mail: Postmarked no later than November 7th 

 - Place your ballot in the mail, no need for a stamp! 

Drop Box: Located at the Grand County Courthouse

- Beginning 10/18, a ballot drop box will be located at the Grand County Clerk's Office.  

Early/In-Person Voting: 

- If you receive a by mail ballot there is no additional benefit to coming in person. Early/In-Person Voting period is 11/2-11/7 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Election Day 11/8 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
