Active Transportation and Trails

The "Moab Trail Team"

The Active Transportation and Trails Division works with local municipalities and land managers to design, build, and maintain non-motorized trail systems within Grand County.

We are dedicated to enhancing non-motorized recreation opportunities, including hiking, running, cycling, horseback riding, climbing and canyoneering, and skiing and snowshoeing. Educating trail users about minimum impact practices in the fragile desert environment is central to our mission.

We also work closely with the City of Moab to expand pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure within the community. We are committed to improving active transportation options and access to safe and well-connected routes throughout the Moab area.
