Project Title: An ordinance to amend Section 4.4 of Grand County Land Use Code to

establish a density bonus incentive for workforce housing and make

improvements to the affordable housing density bonus.

Project Description: The County Commission will consider an ordinance to amend the Land

Use Code to establish a density bonus incentive for workforce housing,

through the Planned Unit Development Overlay District, as provided for

in Section 4.4 of the Land Use Code. The current PUD overlay offers an

incentive for affordable housing (income restricted), but has not been

opted into by developers. This new incentive would help to increase

available housing for local workforce. In addition, the affordable housing

density bonus is being amended to improve its likelihood of being opted

into.
