Public Hearing Notice

Amend the Grand County Land Use Code

Article 3, Accessory Uses


Project Title:     An ordinance amending the Grand County Land Use Code (LUC) Article 3, Section 3.2.3 Accessory Uses to clarify certain standards, modify dimensional standards to encourage ADU construction and align with new Utah State code requirements.


Project Description: 

Update section 3.3.2 Accessory Uses to be consistent with Utah State law regarding Internal Accessory Dwelling Units; to clarify the method for measuring square footage of an ADU, provide reduced setbacks when accessory structures do not exceed 10’ wall height. Addition of required parking.
