A stakeholder workshop to brainstorm solutions for Arches National Park congestion will be held Tuesday, June 30th at the Grand Center, 182 N. 500 W. from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Local citizens and business owners are invited to observe; there will be an opportunity in the coming months for additional public comment to the National Park Service. Invited stakeholders for the June 30th workshop include Arches National Park Superintendent & staff; Friends of Arches & Canyonlands Parks; City Mayor; City Manager; City and County Councils; Moab Area Travel Council Board & staff; local City and County Planners; Moab Chamber of Commerce officers and affected Chamber Member Businesses including guides & outfitters, hoteliers and restaurateurs; Utah State University representative; law enforcement and road safety representatives; land manager representatives; economic development representatives; and visitor center representatives.
