How Far Can Cosmo Go?

The Literal and Literary Adventures of Library Patrons, Visitors, and Friends Alongside their Favorite Library Cat

Slideshow How Far Can Cosmo Go

During the summer of 2024, we asked you to send Cosmo the Library Cat on as many literal & literary adventures as possible, and boy did you deliver!  You took Cosmo's logo everywhere: Cosmo read to his heart's content, explored his hometown, rafted rivers, gained some serious elevation, and even learned new languages.  How far can Cosmo go? Turns out pretty far when you have the world's best library patrons!

Digital Scrapbook Project

Moab's Year of Pandemic Living: A virtual Time Capsule                                                                             Final Scrapbook Opens in new window

The Grand County Public Library invited the community to share pictures showing how 2020 was different. Some shared photos documenting changes and unusual sights. Some shared examples of how they filled their spare time with creative projects like gardening, art and poetry.  All of these show a resilient, determined and courageous community.

We have assembled these together in a Digital Scrapbook to serve as a Community Time Capsule of the past year.  Many thanks to all who contributed. Although this is just a tiny selection of our collective experience, we hope you enjoy!
