Per USC § 20A-5-410, voting history data can be made available to members of the public. To receive a daily automated report of voters who have already voted in the current election, you may fill out and submit the below form. You can also call or stop by the Clerk's Office to make this request.
The "Already Voted List" will be county wide and submitted electronically each night. The list will contain the voter ID, name, county, precinct, address, city, zip, method of voting (early voting, absentee, mail), date of ballot mailing (if relevant), and date voted for all voters.
Voters that have listed their registration record be protected or private will not be on the list by default. Utah law allows candidates, political parties, and contractors, employees, and volunteers of candidates and political parties to obtain voter information classified as “private.” (A candidate is defined as an individual who has filed a declaration of candidacy or filed a notice of intent to gather signatures.). Grand County may request further documentation from qualified entities or individuals before releasing private voter data.
There is a one-time fee of $15.00 per election for this list. The fee amount is determined by the Utah Lieutenant Governor's Office. Fees can be paid over the phone by calling our office at 435-259-1321, or stopping by the Clerk's Office during business hours. Credit/debit card transactions will incur a 2.5% processing fee (min $1.50).
Your request will be processed no later than one business day after received and fee is paid. The data will be emailed to you first thing in the morning once we start ballot processing.
