2. Thank you for your interest in our Myrtle spurge removal program! Your participation is an important part in reducing the impact of noxious weeds in Grand County. 

   We offer no-cost treatment and removal services for Myrtle spurge. Replacement plant vouchers are also offered to aid in revegetation and reintroduction of native plant species. Replacement vouchers are redeemable at Wildland Scapes Plant Nursery.

5. Myrtle Spurge (Euphorbia myrsinites) is a Class 4 Prohibited Utah Noxious Weed. Take care while handling this plant, as the milky sap it exudes can cause severe skin and eye irritation, with the potential for a loss of vision. Gloves, long sleeves, pants, close-toed shoes, and eye protection are recommended.

    Given the highly invasive nature of this plant, we will not conduct partial removal treatments. All Myrtle spurge found on the submitted property must be removed to qualify for the replacement voucher.
