Flood Damage Information

In light of recent flooding events, the County has put together  the following information regarding clean-up efforts:

1) The very first thing you need to do, if you have not done so already, is to contact your insurance agent.

2) Document everything!  Document damage, take pictures and/or video, note dates and times where possible, etc. If you have any "before" pictures and/or video, please include them.

3) Fill out the Private Property Damage  Assessment Survey and include all documentation.  

  • This survey is to gather and track flood damages as a result of recent flooding events in Grand County and to plan future flood hazard mitigation projects. Click Here for Survey

4) Start clean-up **debris removal instructions are for Grand County property owners - outside of Moab City limits**   

  • Please move the debris to the edge of your property line - do not block or impede traffic or access in any way
  • Call the Grand County Road Department at 435-259-5308, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  to schedule pick-up.
  • Please leave a message if there is no answer and someone will return your call ASAP.
