Ballot Return Deadline Change
As of May 7, 2025, Utah Election Code § 20A-3a-204 now specifies that all ballots must be received by the County Clerk's Office no later than 8:00pm on Election Day to be counted. Post mark dates are no longer relevant. Mail or return your ballot early to ensure your vote is counted.
New Ballot Return Envelope Requirements
Starting this election year, Grand County voters will be asked to provide either the last four digits of their Driver License/State ID or their Social Security Number in addition to their signature on their ballot reply envelope. The signature and digits will be concealed under the flap of the envelope, so be sure to fill in all relevant sections before sealing your ballot envelope. See Utah Code § 20a-3a-202(9) and § 20a-3a-204(2).
Choose How You Want to Vote
Beginning in 2029, you will not receive a ballot by mail unless you request to receive a ballot by mail. To notify Grand County Elections of your voting preference, contact our office or update your voter registration online at vote.utah.gov.
